f.f.b.= father foreign born
m.f.b. = mother foreign born
month (given with child under 1 year of age) = month of birth
month (given with older adult) = month of marriage (if married within the year)
schl = attended school within the year
read = cannot read
write = cannot write
male citizen over 21 = males of voting age
denied = males not eligible to male citizen over 21

[NOTE: in transferring this information from a spreadsheet to a word document, there was no way to distinguish between the dollar figure for real estate and that of personal estate when only one number was given. In most cases, one number indicates personal estate, especially if the occupation is other than a farmer].


[Beginning on page 79A is a long list of children, located in the "S. O. School". I've been informed this refers to the Soldiers' Orphans School.]
