Daniel
Trine was born 8 April 1835 on a farm in Lehigh
County, Pa, to Peter and Catherine
Wendling Trine. When Daniel was a small
child, the family moved to a farm near Greenville in
Mercer County, PA.
Daniel's
parents, Peter and Catherine Trine are buried in Jerusalem
Reformed Cemetery in Otter Creek Township in Mercer
County. Nathan's brother Nathan
also served in the same unit in the Civil War.
Daniel
married Susanna Pauly.
He died 23
May 1909.
