Albert T. Uber, 734 Sherman Ave., died in Sharon General Hospital at 2:50 p.m. yesterday [6 Jun 1952] following an extended illness.  He was 75.

Although he had been in ailing health for some time Mr. Uberís death was unexpected and came as a shock to his many friends.

Mr. Uber was born in Mercer County, March 19, 1877, the son of Benjamin and Minerva Carpenter Uber.  He had been a resident of Sharon for the past 26 years and prior to that he lived in Farrell for 25 years.  He was a retired private contractor and by occupation he was a carpenter.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Farrell and belonged to the I.O.O.F. Lodge of Farrell.

On March 28, 1899, he married Minnie R. Hawkins, who survives.  Mr. and Mrs. Uber celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last March.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Marie, wife of Harry T. Anderson, Sharon; a son, William E. Uber, Sharon; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Johns, Farrell and Mrs. George Keiffer, Trenton, N.J.; a brother, Mont E. Uber, Burghill, O.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
