Mrs.
Mary Ann DeForeest, a member of a pioneer Sharon family,
where she resided for many years, died on Sunday at the home of her son,
Emery DeForeest, at Johnson, Ohio, aged 87 years. Death was caused by
heart failure. She was the widow of the late Abram De Foreest and is
also survived by another son Byron, of this place. The remains were
brought to Sharon for burial in Oakwood Cemetery on Wednesday. Services
were being held at the First M. E. church. Rev. Horace McKinney, the
pastor, officiating.
