Funeral services for Elma I. Carr, 68, 17642 Cassidy Drive, Yuma, AZ, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Dixon's Yuma Mortuary with the Rev. Nathan Pillow officiating.  Burial will be in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Carr was born September 23, 1904, in West Middlesex, Mercer County, PA.  She died yesterday at Yuma Regional Medical Center.  She moved to Yuma two years ago.

Mrs. Carr was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School where where received her teaching degree.  She taught school in Salem, OR for many years.  She was also active in Western County Cousins and Good Sams, an amateur radio group. 

Surviving are her husband, Clarence Roy Carr of the home, a daughter, Shirley Green of Brawley, two sisters, Edith Reed of West Middlesex, PA and Gladys Hall of Albuquerque, NM and two grandchildren.

The family requests memorial to the American Cancer Society in care of Dixon's.
