MRS SARAH J.
BYERS
Mrs. Sarah J. Byers, aged 74 years, died at the Overlook Sanitarum, New Willington on Saturday. She had been in ill health for many months and death was caused by infirmities incident to age. She was a daughter of the late
John McKinney and wife, pioneer residents of this section and most of her life was spent in Mercer County. She was the widow of the late
Samuel Byers for many years a well known resident of Greenfield. She was a member of the 2nd United presbyterian Church of Mercer, and a woman of many estimable traits. She is survived by two brothers and one sister;
Thomas McKinney of Petersburg and Edward McKinney
and Mrs. Alice Reznor of Mercer. Funeral services were held at the Reznor home Monday at 2 P M. conducted by
Rev. J.M. Blackwood and Rev. John H. Duncan
and interment was made in the Mercer Mausoleum.
