Springfield Corners 

 

Springfield Corners, located about five miles east of Mercer, near Irishtown in the far northeast corner of Findley Township, is a small community.  In the mid-1800s, the Springfield Reformed Presbyterian Church was located there.  In the late 1800s, it moved into Mercer.  

Landowners in and near Springfield Corners, according to the 1873 Combined Atlas of Mercer County:  Armstrong Irwin, Mr. McElree, the U. P. Church and the graveyard, Springfield Cemetery).
