Mary McDowell Carnes


		Mary McDowell Carnes Mary was born in Westmoreland County, PA to Edward and Mary McDowell. She married Godfrey Carnes in Westmoreland ca. 1791 and the couple raised 12 children. A family plot exists at Oakwood Cemetery with a rather large family monument encircled with family member burials which includes Godfrey and his wife, Mary, and many of their children and respective spouses. research submitted by Beth Rollinson
