Per book "Settlers of the Passaic Valley" by Littel, William
may have been the son of
John Simpson. The book says that William married
Sarah Brown of Stony Brook and had children
Jane, Pamela and John. This doesn't match well with children
Charity, Permilia & John (among others). William names children and wife
Sarah in his will.
William died April 6, 1849,
at age 66 years, and is buried in Waldron
Cemetery.
