June J. Johnston Submitted by Norris Burdette June J. Johnston was born 28 Apr 1881 at Bullion, Venango Co., PA, to Alexander F. and Mary Eleanor Burdett Johnston. He was an electrician. He never married. After the death of his sister, Nellie Geraldine Johnston Tremayne, he and his sister, Mary Eleanor "Ella" Burdett adopted Nellie Geraldine's four children and raised them as their own. June J. Johnston died 15 Jan 1937 at Florence, CO, and is buried at Union Highland Cemetery in Florence, CO.
