|Bill DeCoursey||I have a copy of
Ralf Ridway Hillman's Old Dansbury and the
Moravian Mission (Printed in 1934). This is
not indexed, nor have I scanned it on the
computer, so it is hard to search, but I would be
willing to look for specific references in this
book if the requests remain limited.
The book is a historical account of the Indian raids of 1755-56 on the settlers of old Smithfield, PA and the Moravian mission at present Stroudsburd with many documents containing specific names and incidents. It is a published version of addresses before the Monroe County Historical Society at Stroudsburg, PA 17 May 1932, the Moravian Historical Society, Nazareth, PA 20 Oct 1932 and the Wyoming Historical and Geological Society, Wilkes-Barre, PA 20 Jan 1933.
