Seeking information on George OMAN and Maria MACK who resided in Lower Smithfield, Northampton (now Monroe) from 1774-1783. George was a Ranger on the frontier in Capt. Henry SHOEMAKER's company including Moses COOLBACH, Daniel SHOEMAKER and Nicholas DEPUE (relatives). Henry MACK in the same company was also probably related.

I am looking for information on E. C. DAVIS (b.abt 1828). He was the second husband of Fronika (Franny) EVERITT HEINEY. They married between 1870 and 1880. According to the 1880 census he was a Justice of the Peace in Polk twp., Monroe Co. and he suffered from dropsy. I'd like to know his full name, his parents' names, birth and death dates, and if he was previously married.

I am looking for information on Anna B. DREHER. I believe her father's name was Samuel. Anna married Guy P. DEAN of NY. They had one son Guy, Jr. who was my grandfather. Anna lived in Yonkers, NY once she was married. Also looking for A. Mitchel PALMER. He served as Attorney General for the US and related to my paternal great grandfather.

Searching for WARNERs, specifically the parents of George (b.1790/1, Northampton Co; d.28 Sep 1869, Pocono Twp; bd.St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Tannersville). Spouse was Elizabeth ANGELMIRE (b.1792, Northampton Co; d.24 Sep 1878). Don't know where she was buried, not next to her husband.

I am searching for information on the family of Samuel S. GOWER and Harriet SCHECK. Samuel was born in Saylorsburg in 1835. I am searching for the place and date of marriage, when he left Monroe County and located in Luzerne County, and information on the children. I believe Harriet was the daughter of James SCHECK but have no additional information on the SCHECK family.

I am looking for anyone researching the VAN_HORN/STERNER/BRONG families of Monroe County.I have a Daniel VAN HORN married to Lavinia BRONG. They had the following children:Hannah, md. (1)William RICHARDS, (2)William LORD, (3)Dick UNDERWOOD Susannah, md. Moses DERBY Mary Ann, md. Christopher HUEY Emaline, md. William BRONG Sarah, md. Charles PHILLIPS James, md. Norma COOLBAUGH Melvina, md. Solomon TRAVERS Edward, md. Sarah ? Frances I, md. Solomon TRAVERS Nancy, md. William LORD Lavinia was the daughter of Peter BRONG. She may have had brothers Sebastian and Peter and a sister Catherine. I find a Peter BRONG that died in Wyoming County in 1854. He is listed on the 1850 Census as follows:Peter Brong, 68, Farmer Mary, 58 Martin, 16 Anson, 7 John, 1 Fassett, E., 38 ", Catherine, 19 (md. within the year) I am sure Peter and Mary were too old to still be having babies in 1850. Whose children are these? Looking for proof that this Peter is my Lavinia's father. Looking for information on Benjamin VAN_HORN (b.14 Jul 1759, d.prob.26 Aug 1833). He was a private in the Revolutionary War. His first wife was Nancy YOUNG. His second wife was Rachel DAILEY. Benjamin had a brother Samuel VAN_HORN who married Katheryn EVENS. They had children born in Monroe County, then moved to Salem, Luzerne County in 1794. Later Samuel went to Kentucky with sons Amos and Benjamin. Samuel died in KY. Trying to find Benjamin's children and date of death. Benjamin and Nancy may have had the following children:John md. Susan STARNER/STERNER Nicholas md. Catherine SHOBERT Benjamin md. Searching for children of marriage between Adam ARNHOLD (note the "H" in surname) and Molly SAENTY/SANTEE, md. 25 May 1788 at First Reform Church of Easton, PA. Adam is the son of Conrad ARNOLD and Maria Margaretha JUNG (now YOUNG) who were married on 16 Apr 1750 at Baumholder Reformed Church in Wurtemburg, Germany, and had six children. Any info re Adam ARNHOLD's children or whether he left PA for Hampshire Cty, VA would be appreciated.

Looking for any information on the DEHAVEN / DEHEVEN / DEHEFEN family from Monroe County, PA. Abraham DEHAVEN (b.abt 176?) md.(1) Margaretha. Their children:Susanna (b.26 Jun 1786) Anna (b.17 Aug 1789) Abraham md. (2) abt. 1794, Clara or Charlotta; their children:John George (b.1795) Melcher (b.1797) Jacob (b.1799) Peter (b.1803) Johannes (b.1805) George may have been in Luzerne County for a while but did not stay there. I believe he married Elizabeth OSTERDOC / EASTERDAY. Elizabeth died about 1832, two children came from this union. I believe George married again and had more children, one called Benjiman DEHAVEN (b.abt 1834). In 1850 Benjiman is living in Luzerne County with the ENNIS family. Is George really Benjiman's father? If so, who is his mother? Any information would be much appreciated. Seeking information on the ARNOLD families of Monroe Co. Abraham ARNOLD was born in 1753 in Springfield Twp, Bucks Co, PA. He died 1839-40. In his will written in 1837, he mentions a daughter Mary. While residing in Hamilton Twp, Northampton Co, (now Monroe Co), he enlisted in the Revolutionary War. After the war I find him in Nescopeck Twp, Luzern Co, PA (1796) and then in Hanover Twp (1799), and then in Newport Twp, Luzern Co, PA (1810). He was said to have married a Catharina SCHEIBELE. There children were: Anna Catharina (1782) Maria Susanna (1780) Margaretha (1784), md to WERKHEISER John Jacob (1788) Christina (1790) Maria (1792) Abraham (abt 1793-4, d.1789 Luzerne Co, PA) I believe his parents were Conrad and Margaretha YOUNG ARNOLD. Looking for information on Catherine SLIKER/SLIDER (b.13 Jan 1853, Pottstown, PA; d.13 May 1928, Newport twp, Luzerne, PA). Her mother was Tacy JONES (b.Slocum, PA). In 1928 brothers and sisters listed in obituary were Ralph of Allentown; Albert SLIKER of Stroudsburg, PA; Mrs. Carl BOYER and Mrs. Morgan HOPKINS of Wyoming.
