BAKELY, BAKLEY, TOBIAS posted by Diane DeMore on Sunday, January 16, 2000: BAKLEY/BAKELY I am searching for the death of my great great grandmother, married name Ida Virginia BAKLEY. For some years the only thing I am left with is that her husband and she, with children, followed a brother to the Stroudsburg area and she died there. The time frame would be August 1876 to sometime in 1880. Ida had son Charles, August 1876 in Medford, Burlington County, NJ. Her husband, Henry is remarried by 1880 to Helena TOBIAS who was born in PA and is back in Medford, NJ. Henry had a brother, Jesse BAKLEY whose son Aldolphus died in Stroudsburg May 1876, placing a family member in this area. Ida is a brickwall of mine, I am trying to find when and where she died and is buried. From exhaustive research, it is not NJ Any help appreciated. Diane

BUZZARD, JENNINGS posted by Edward Buzzard on Thursday, January 27, 2000: I am requesting info on Earl William Buzzard born in Bangor, Pa in January 1888. His mother may have been a Jennings and his grandmother was part or all indian. He died in Conn on Mar 6, 1961. He had supposedly visited family during the late 50s in Stroudsburg.

Freeman was born 1860 and is the son of Nelson Smith and Lydia Ann Schell. Ellen and Freeman's children were Dorth Smith,Asher Freeman SMith born 1887, Mary Smith(b 1892, Bangor, PA), Arch Smith, Gertrude Smith(born Kunkletown, PA), Floyd Smith, Ada Rebecca Smith(my grandmother) and Harold Smith (born Smith Gap, PA). Any information on Ellen Buskirk's parent's would be appreciated.

BOWMAN, BUSKIRK, SCHELL, SMITH posted by Linda Honzo on Monday, February 7, 2000: Searching for Information on Nelson Smith born 9/8/1824 in Smith Gap, Monroe County, PA married to Lydia Ann Schell. Nelson was son of Jonas Smith and Maria. Any information on this Smith family would be helpful. Alot of the relatives are buried in St. Matthew Cemtery in Kunkletown, PA. Also Looking for information on Freeman Smith and Ellen Susanna Buskirk. Freeman was born 1860. Freeman and Ellen's daughter Ada Rebecca born 1903 was my grandmother. Ada was married to Robert Franklin Bowman.
