I am searching for a John J. Ryan who is know to have been in Barret Township in 1870. He was married to Mary ?. Their children were Mary Ann age 10, John age 8, Edward age 6, Jeremiah age 3 and James age 3 months. My Great-Grandfather William was born later when the family moved to Lattimer in Luzerne.

Looking for the parents of Charles Counterman born 2 July 1883. Siblings Oscar, Finley, Mabel (married Jacob Groner). Charles was born in Pike County. His father's name may have been Franklin. Franklin died while Charles was a minor and his mother was taken away to a sanitarium. Mabel may have been adopted by the Godshalk family.
