ENGLER, HAY, HELLER posted by Peggy Epperson on Thursday, March 1, 2001: I am looking for information on Leonard Engler(my gg-grandfather) b.12/25/1815 d.01/26/1881 married to Frances Heller. I was told they were married in Belvedere, NJ. Their son Joseph Isaiah Engler was married to Sarah Margaret Hay.But most information I have seen at other web sites shows them in Monroe Co. I have no information further back on this side, so any help is appreciated. Thanks Peggy

PA. Their son, Charles, born 18 August 1839, was baptized in the Salem Reformed and Lutheran Church in Chestnut Hill Twp. Sponsors were Elias and Susanna SERVAS. Louis may have been a druggist. Any information on this family is appreciated.

Their daughter Sophia was my Grandmother. Sophia married Samuel Streepy Dec 11,1880 at Stone Church Centerville near Mt. Bethel. Also looking for info on Samuel's father Joseph and his wife Eliza Yohe. Also Joseph's father John Streepy and wife Susanna. All of these stayed in or near Monroe and Northampton Co., Tannersville, Mt. Bethel, Delaware Water Gap, etc.The Streepy line might be traced to Hans Michael Strieby but can't quite connect .

My understanding is that he resided in Delaware Water Gap and had also married again after being divorced from my great-grandmoother-- CORA EDVINNA BROOKS in 1920., so I would also like to have the family information on the second wife of George Donlin if at all possible. Also any and all information on GEORGE F. DONLIN --ie-residence, type of work, church affliations, groups joined (masons,etc) would be gratefully be received and used for our family history records that I am compiling. Does anyone have any information on Samuel & Susan Overpeck Rockwell family. They had 7 children. Susan Rockwell's obituary states that she was born in Bushkill, Pa 1822-died in Pittston, Pa 1917. She was a member of the Cherry Valley ME Church. She moved to Pittston after her husband died in 1862. Samuel Rockwell was born in Honesdale, 1820 & was in the Civil War. He is buried in Leonardsville, Pa. Does anyone know the location of this cemetery and any information on their children? Please contact Ruth iluvjez@aol.com
