Rev. David C. Reed

Rev. D. C. Reed was a son of this Presbytery. He was the son of Rev. Wm. Reed. and was born in the Presbytery and spent his whole life under its beneficent influences. Thirty-three and one-third years of his ministerial life was given to Unity Church. For over thirty-eight years he was the Stated Clerk of this Presbytery. A more accurate and efficient clerk could riot be found. Although his hearing was almost gone for many years, vet he kept in close touch with the doings of the Presbytery. He was an instructive preacher and faithful pastor.
