Mackey was born in Littlestown, Pa., graduated at Pennsylvania College,
Gettysburg, Pa., in 1876. He attended a medical college and became
an M.D. in 1882. After practicing several years he entered the
Eastern Theological Seminary from which he graduated in 1886. He
served charges at Emlenton, Maytown, St. Thomas and the
Fairfield-Cashtown charge, PA. He died at Fairfield, PA., Sept. 16,
