R. J.—Licensed to preach, 1837; admitted on trial, 1838; full
connection, 1840; deacon, 1840, Hedding; elder, 1842, Morris; located,
1846. For a time resided in Erie, Pa., where he engaged in secular
business, which proved financially disastrous. He afterwards moved
west, where he died.
