SIBLEY, R. J.—Licensed to preach, 1837; admitted on trial, 1838; full connection, 1840; deacon, 1840, Hedding; elder, 1842, Morris; located, 1846. For a time resided in Erie, Pa., where he engaged in secular business, which proved financially  disastrous. He afterwards moved west, where he died.

Appointments. —1838, Warren, Ohio; 1839, Edinburg; 1840, Gustavus; 1841, Greenville and Clarksville; 1842, Cambridge; 1843, Wesleyville; 1844-5, Wattsburg.
