Thomas Sharp Leason

REV. THOMAS SHARP LEASON, D. D., was born on the Leason farm April 29, 1817, graduated from Washington college 1847, and Western Theological Seminary three years later. Ordained by the presbytery of Zanesville, Ohio, 1848. He was pastor of the Marietta, Ohio, 1848-1849; Leechburg and Pine Run, 1851-1859; Mt. Tabor and Mill Creek 1860-1891. At Brookville, Pa., July 29, 1891, he passed to his reward.
