William
Foster
Rev.
William Foster was born in Little Britain Township, Lancaster County,
PA, on 17 Aug 1740, the son of Alexander Foster who emigrated from the
North of Ireland and settled in Little Britain Township.
Rev.
Foster graduated from Princeton in 1764, and was licensed by the New
Castle Presbytery shortly thereafter. In 1767, he married Hannah
Blair. He died 30 Sept 1780.
