The Bedford County Historical Society operates the Pioneer Library, the county's most extensive collection of historical and genealogical materials. The society's Pioneer Library serves as a repository for all types of historical information and welcomes donations of materials. To Our Members and Friends
The BCHS is pleased to announce that we have found a new home. We will be housed in an historic "bank" barn, situated next to a log house on the Lincoln Highway. Our new address is 6441 Lincoln Highway, Bedford, about four miles west from the center of Bedford Borough. Our hours of operation will remain the same as before the move, that is, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4pm and every third Saturday of the month from 9am to 2 pm. We should be up and running by August 10th.
We are excited about our new home and the advantages it offers, so please stop by and say HELLO.
