Welcome to the web site of the Punxsutawney Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Located in Punxsutawney, the chapter is named after the town of Punxsutawney which is home to the Groundhog "Punxsy Phil." The Punxsutawney Chapter was organized in 1924 and officially accepted by NSDAR in 1926.

The objectives of the organization are to foster a spirit of true patriotism; to encourage historical research in relation to the American Revolution; to cherish, maintain, and extend the institutions of America; to advocate all appropriate celebrations for all patriotic anniversaries; and to preserve the memory of the noble men and women who bore their share in the danger and privation of the Revolutionary War.

Please contact us to learn more about the Punxsutawney Chapter, to learn who we are and what we do, to obtain membership information, and to be informed of upcoming events.  You are invited to contact our Regent, Joan Yvonne Miller Olp (724-254-0346), with any questions concerning the DAR.
