• Son of Abraham & Veronica(Cable)Musser
• Born Jan. 6, 1832
• Married ? Apparently because records show his money was returned to his widow after his death during the Civil War by a Lieut. Schrock
• Enrolled out of Somerset, PA on Oct. 16, 1882
• Died June 12, 1863 in Washington, North Carolina
• Rank at Death: Corporal Co. H Regiment 171 Infantry
• Cause of Death: Disease
• Phillip's name is on the monument in front of the Somerset Courthouse
• Buried at the National Cemetery Plot 7 Grave 96
• *Christian may have also served but I have to do more research
