Julia Cantwell's Mother wa Mary Kelly (Pottsville I believe) and her father was Robert Cantwell (Blythe Twp I believe). Thomas Stanton's Mother was Margaret Connors and she married John J. I have visited Mary D, but because it was just a patch town it has been difficult to locate any information. here is a character to the coal regions that few people have been able to capture and I ove to ride through the mountains and through the small towns,climb to the abandoned mines, walk over the slag heaps now hidden under the growth of new forests, and l sten to the long forgetten music of the big bands at the now deserted Lakehurst (? am not sure the name is correct). I have recently started to search for my roots. I was born and raised in Frackville. My mother still lives in Frackville and has her entire life. My father (died Jan. 19 9), was from Mahanoy Plane (or Maizeville). His real father was Stephen Basara and died when my father was only 10 years old. My father barely remembered him, and I have no idea if my gf had any siblings. My mother's maiden name was Cooper and I have t at traced back to the Pribulick and Billie families on my gm side. My gf Cooper came over from Eastern Europe, had some siblings, but I'm hitting a brick wall there also. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
