SWOYER/SCHWEYER John Swoyer(b:1818); Simon Swoyer(b:1845); Franklin Swoyer(b:1877); Earl Swoyer(b1908). Franklin was one of eleven. I know some of the descendent of his siblings. Simon was the eldest of eight. The original spelling was Schweyer. This quickly became Schwoyer, Sweyer, Swoyer, and in some locations --Swyer and maybe even Zweyer. There is a lot more, going back to at least late 1600's and maybe further. There are references to an Edgar in 1172AD Family is from Girardville contributed by:Al Swoyer imbigal@erols.com
