Grammy's "Dutch Cake"

1 yeast cake (compressed - 3 oz.) or three pkgs.dried yeast
1 C. mashed potatoes (cool slightly, add to yeast) 
1 C. oleo
1 1/2 C. sugar - cream well
4 eggs, beaten light 
flour to stiffen, 6-7 C, or more if sticky
Mix sugar and butter, add potatoes, yeast & eggs....add flour.  Bake at 350° 
- 30 to 35 minutes.  Before you put the loaves in the oven, coat the top with 
oleo and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.  (I make these in round loaves on 
a cookie sheet).
