This Indenture Made the thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight Between Isaac PENNINGTON and his wife Elizabeth of Chester County and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and Jacob PLANK of Lancaster County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Isaac PENNINGTON and his wife Elizabeth in consideration of the sum of thirteen dollars to them paid by the said Jacob PLANK at the execution hereof the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant, sell, assign and confirm unto the said Jacob PLANK his heirs and assigns all that certain lot of land situate in the town of Cambridge in the County of Lancaster aforesaid and designated on the plan of said Town as number twenty seven butted and bounded as follows Beginning at a post on the north side of Main Street and corner Vine Street thence __?___ Main Street north eighty five degrees East four perches to a post, thence by lot number twenty six ten perches to a post thence by lot number forty six south eighty five degrees west four perches to Vine Street thence by the same south four and half degrees East ten perches to the place of Beginning Containing one quarter of an acre net measure together with all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments thereunto belonging being the same lot of land which was conveyed unto the said Isaac PENNINGTON by Abraham DIERDORF and William ROBINSON and John MYERS assignees of the said Abraham DIERDORF by their deed bearing date the thirteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one To Have and To Hold the aforesaid granted lot of land with all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments thereof unto the said Jacob PLANK his heirs and assigns forever and the said Isaac PENNINGTON and his wife Elizabeth for themselves their heirs, Executors and administrators hereby covenant promise and agree that the aforesaid granted lot of land and all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments thereof unto the said Jacob PLANK his heirs and assigns shall and will forever warrant and defend.

The State of Pennsylvania, Lancaster County to wit: Chester County, ss Before me a Justice of the peace of and County personally appeared the within named Isaac PENNINGTON and his wife Elizabeth his wife on the thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight and acknowledged the within written Indenture to be their act and deed for the ___?___ and purposes therein mentioned the said Elizabeth being by me Examined separate and apart from her said husband declared that she Executed the same of her own free will and intent without any constraint or coercion of her of her said husband and they desired it might be recorded as such. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the date aforesaid.
