We have been working on finding ancestors in Fayette Co. PA, probably in Stewart and Warton Townships. Names we are interested in at this point are Robert CARROLL and his possible wife Hannah BUSH????, Henry LOWRY, father to a John LOWRY married to Lucinda LISTON. Some of hese people may have also lived in Glassport in Westmoreland county. On the other side of the mountain lived the grandparents on the other side Warren RUSSELL and Eva GEDDINGS. We have extensive information on most other family members and are eager to trade information.

Simon was employed by the Wilhelms in St Paul and lived in the Matlick house for 12 years. They then moved to Elklick Township near the Wm H Hay farm. Was he the same JAMES MOON who was a Rev War Soldier and living in Fayette Co.,PA in the early 1800s? I am told there is a JAMES MOON buried in the Old Jersey Cemetery, Lower Turkefoot Twp. who died in Dec, 1829. Could this James in Somerset Co. be a son of the one in FayetteCo.?
