The Tah Gah Jute chapter was founded in Danville on October 12, 1991. Our founding regent was Vera Grove Rishel. The objective of the chapter is to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence. Along with the National and State Societies, we aim to protect historical spots and monuments, encourage historical education and research, preserve historical documents and relics, and promote the celebration of patriotic events. ![]() The Montour County Courthouse
