Pictorial History of Twin Bridges Road area and
area near Lott Winnett and Hester Winnett

Submitted by Charleroi Historical Society

entrance of Maple Creek Cemetery Looking back from entrance of Maple Creek Cemetery is this other old house
Looking back from entrance of Maple Creek Cemetery is this other old house. I then drove down the hill and turned onto the road that runs below the cemetery and back toward the Lover PA entrance/exit onto I-70.  This area is locally referred to as Twin Bridges Road and/or "Death Valley" (because in the past, a girl was killed on a train bridge that ran high above the the valley that this road goes into.)
