Location: Near Midway in Robinson Twp. on Bowen Rd. near Belgium Hollow Road in Washington Co., PA.
Directions: From Midway, head southwest on
Prospect Street toward Railroad Street, turn right at Railroad Street and take
the 2nd left onto North Ave for 0.6 mile. Turn left onto Bowen Road, cemetery on
right about 0.2 mile. Destination will be on the right or south side of the
road.
Background: There is little known about the Center cemetery. The first
burial for which a readable stone exists is from 1809.
Census: This data was collected by the DAR and found in the genealogy section of
the Washington PA library. The data is from 1937 so the burial records may not
be complete. Published in "Miscellaneous Cemeteries, Washington Co.,
PA.", Vol. 1, 1937. Copy in genealogical collection at Citizens Library,
Washington, PA.
