Rice's Landing Column-
Rice's Landing, Dec. 12 --
Literary society will be held in the school hall Friday evening.
Mrs. Elizabeth Coffman, of Chicago, is visiting her daughter,
Mrs. S. A. HOGE.
Samuel DENNY, who has been ill several weeks, is improving.
Word has been received from Charleroi [PA] that Ross DENNY, who
moved from this place to the city about a month ago, is seriously ill of typhoid
fever.
E. B. CAMPBELL, of Braznell, was arrested last Saturday by
George CHRISTOPHER, of this place and taken to the Waynesburg jail, charged with
stealing a bunch of raw furs from the ADAMS express office.
