From time to time (rarely), I will look-up a few records for a family not related to me. I am too busy to do look-ups very often.  I decided to share some of the searches here that I've done.

SOURCE: The Daily Courier newspaper, Charleroi, Washington County PA, Monday, August 29, 1938, page 3:

Hurt in Motor Wreck.

BUFFALO, N. Y., Aug. 29.--Condition of Marcie Ann CAIRNS, 26, of Brownsville, Pa., was reported good at Mercy Hospital. 

She was injured when her auto was struck by a train near here. Helen PIERSOL, 26, also of Brownsville [Pa.], was less seriously hurt.

Note: Is she related to Andrew and Lillian DONEY/DONNELLY CAIRNS ?
