GEORGE D. MAXON, SM3/C

George D. Maxon, SM3/C, son of William MAXON, was born in Roscoe, December 1, 1927.  He attended the Roscoe and Elco public schools and California [Pa] High School.  He is a former employee of the Corning Glass Works, Charleroi [Pa].

MAXON enlisted in the Navy April 15, 1944 and received his boot training at Sampson, N.Y.  He recently returned from duty overseas and is stationed in New York City.
