Private First Class Kenneth Joseph SHINKO, son of Mrs. Mary E. SHINKO, of Granville, Pa., was born in Granville, Pa., on May 4, 1925.  He enlisted in the service on May 17, 1943 and was assigned to the 1_0th Engineers Corps of the 2nd Army.  He was a member of the Polish National Alliance Lodge No. 623 of California, Pa.  Prior to his enlistment he was employed by the Corning Glass Company of Charleroi, Pa.
