SARAH R. ACHESON, age 54, died Nov. 13, 1878, in Kittanning, Pa. Widow of William Acheson. (W.R. Nov. 20, 1878). (W.O. Nov. 22, 1878).

LIZZIE ACKISON, age about 18, died Nov. 10, 1878, of typhoid fever. Daughter of William & Mary Ackison, of West Middletown. (W.R. Nov. 13, 1878). (W.O. Nov. 15, 1878).

JOHN ALLEN, died Jan. 13, 1878, at his residence near Pigeon Creek M. E. Church, after a lingering illness. He was the contractor on the B & O Hempfield extension. He came from Virginia to Bentleyville three years previously. (W.O. Jan. 18, 1878).
