Rev. JOHN CARUTHERS, age 72, died Nov. 27, 1880, at the Fulton House, in Washington, of paralysis. Born near Latrobe, Westmoreland Co., May 5, 1807. Married Mar. 24, 1840 to Sophia Huston. Remarried Jan. 1, 1867 to Mary Kirkpatrick, who survives him. More information available in obit. (W.R. Nov. 27, 1880).
