THE WASHINGTON OBSERVER, Monday, November 5, 1956, Page10: MRS. ANNA A. ROSS Mrs. Anna A. Ross, 70 [sic], of 101 Green street [sic], Claysville, died in her home at 5:40 a. m. Saturday, November 3, 1956, after a short illness. She was born near Titusville, November 12, 1877, a daughter of Deidrich and Charlotte Kleffman Ahlf. Mrs. Ross lived in Taylorstown most of her life until moving to Claysville two years ago. Her husband, Clinton S. Ross, died May 22, 1956. Mrs. Ross was a member of Taylorstown Christian Church. Surviving are five children: Freda, wife of L. S. Emeterio, Claysville; Verla M. Ross, Washington; Erma, wife of C. W. Risher, Washington; Gertrude A. Ross, Pittsburgh; and Charles W. Ross, Greensburg. A daughter, Twila, died in infancy. Also surviving is one brother, George Ahlf, Fontana, Calif., four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
