Mrs. Mildred Rosella Geary Smith, 73, of West Brownsville, died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Sunday afternoon. She was a native of Somerset county.

She was born September 22, 1878, a daughter of Addison and Sara Stouffer Geary. She was a member of the Gospel Mission Church at Brownsville.

Surviving are five children, Mrs. Grace Kent of Elco, Mrs. George Peterson of Washington, Pa., Mrs. Harry Cowell of Charleroi, Mrs. Wilson Vebans [Bevans] of Tiffin and Webster Smith of West Brownsville; three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Gramlich of Everson, Mrs. Harry Truxel of Scottdale and Mrs. Charles Robbins of Owensdale; a brother, Leroy Geary of Ellwood City; 18 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Parkins funeral home at Roscoe where the funeral was held this afternoon with interment in Olive Branch Cemetery at Smithton.
