“Valley Independent”, Wednesday July 5, 1989 Mildred R. Ludwig (Dellie Bevans)
Born Feb. 25, 1920, in Coal Center, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Nancy Geary Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Woodrow Wilson Bevans; her second husband, Fred. H. Ludwig; and two sons, Buddy and Lee Bevans. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Roy (Nancy) Shoup of Brooksville, Fla., Mrs. Robert (Lois Jean) Hutcheson of Uniontown, Mrs. Ron (Dolly) Porcea of New Salem, Mrs. John (Bonnie) Dzubinsky of Donora and Mrs. Frank (Susan) Sala of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sons, Larry Bevans of Connellsville, John Bevans of Uniontown and George Bevans of Frostburg, Md., 16 grandchildren, one great-grandson; and two sisters, Mrs. George (Dolly) Peterson of Washington, Pa., and Mrs. Harry (Jane) Cowell of Charleroi.
