Died yesterday about 4 o'clock, Mrs. Sarah Swearengen, the eldest daughter of David Redick, deceased. Her remains were interred at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the burial ground of this place.
(Note: Could she have been buried at the HOGE Cemetery in Washington Pa? Bodies were removed as the town grew. There is a monument today to the HOGE family in Washington. She is not found at Cooke Burial Ground where her husband was buried.)
