Thelma Gertrude Horner (Taylor) and her oldest brother Bernard Alvin Horner.  Taken in 1920 when Thelma was just about 1 year old.  

Thelma was born August 3, 1919 in Canton Twp., Washington Co., PA, the only daughter of Melvin Edward and Bernice Eliza Sims Horner.  She married Albert Ewart Taylor on September 23, 1939 in Washington, PA.  They had 6 children. She lived in Washington County until 1993 when she moved with her husband to Warren, OH. She died May 6, 1997 in Warren, Trumbull Co., OH.  

Bernard Alvin Horner, first born son of Melvin Edward & Bernice Eliza Sims Horner, was born, October 30, 1917 in Canton Twp., Washington Co., PA.  He married Mary Thompson in 1942 and she died in 1948.  He married a second time to Gertrude Mary Bolen, in 1955 and lost her in 1978.  They had one daughter.  His third marriage was to Hannah (Ann) Hoffman in 1982.  He died March 13, 1985 in Washington, PA and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Rt. 19, McMurray, PA.
