Robert McCombs was the son of John McCombs, b. 24 Apr 1790, d. 18 Nov 1871, m. 1817 to Eleanor Mather John McCombs was the son of William McCombs, b. 1740, d. 3 Mar 1807

The young man is my grandfather, John Henry Lash Jr, b. 13 Jun 1872, d. 10 Sep 1934, who married Robert McCombs third daughter Edna 31 Aug 1893.  They also had 11 children, Nellie Mae, Charles Elliott, Ethel Mae, Loretta Dora, Clara Elizabeth, William Peter, George Roy, Margaret Mary, John Hamilton, Edith Jean.  (John's brother Stephen married Robert's fourth daughter Maud)  

John Henry Lash Jr. was the son of John Henry Lash Sr., b 5 May 1844, d. 15 Nov 1899, married Elizabeth Ann Hixon 2 Jun 1864.  They had 5 children, Abigail, Stephen, Elizabeth, John Henry, Margaret.  

John Henry Lash Sr. was the son of John Lash b. 5 Mar 1800, d. ? married Abigail (Steele) Devore, widow, 7 Oct 1831.  Abigail had 2 children, Lydia Anne and Joshua Devore.  They had 2 more children, David, John Henry Jr. Thanks for allowing me to share. Bruce Lash
