Wedding announcement of Ida May Newman to William S. Cumberledge. 

"CUMBERLEDGE - NEWMAN - The home of Mr. Allen Newman of Wolftown, was the scene of a very enjoyable occasion, Saturday evening April 27, 1901 it being the marriage of his youngest sister, Ida May Newman to W. S. Cumberledge both of Washington, in the presence of a few invited guests Rev. Carry, of the Jefferson avenue (sic), pronounced the happy couple man and wife.  The bride was born and raised in W. Va., the groom is one of Washington county's most noble young men.  They will go at once to their new home carrying with them the best wishes of a host of friends.

Ida May Newman Cumberledge information:

The 1900 Census (West Washington Borough, Washington County - Roll T623 1492, Page 14B, Enum. Dist. 125) lists my great grandmother, Margaret Cumberledge, head of household, with my grandfather William Sanford Cumberledge and his siblings. Also living in the same town was Ida Newman, my grandmother.

William and Ida married April 27, 1901.  The wedding announcement is from an unknown newspaper and a wedding photo.
