Here is a copy of a 1958 obituary from an unknown newspaper for Ida's sister Belle (Newman) Van Atta, whose true first name was Lucinda.  She is listed with parents John and Susana (Susanna) Newman (nee Miller) in 1880 Census (Richhill, Grene Co, PA) along with her siblings including Ida, age one - to be two in July 1880.  To date I've found no info about Daughters of America No. 61, mentioned in Belle's obit.

"Mrs. Belle Van Atta - Mrs. Belle VAN ATTA, 93, a former well known and highly respected citizen of Washington, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. January 28, 1953, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. T. Clyde WHITE, 573 East High Street, Waynesburg, after a lingering illness.

Born June 4, 1865, at Nebo, she was a daughter of John and Susanna MILLER NEWMAN. She resided for the past 10 years at the home of Mrs. WHITE, and previous to that time resided in Washington.  Her husband, Spencer VAN ATTA, has been deceased for the past 29 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Beulah WHITE and Mrs. Mabel TAYLOR, of Waynesburg; Mrs. Pauline SMITH of Washington; a son, William S. VAN ATTA of Altoona; two step-children, Mrs. Cora TAYLOR of Washington and J. D. VAN ATTA of Taylorstown; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a brother, John NEWMAN of Canton, O.  One son, two brothers and one sister are deceased.

Mrs. VAN ATTA was a charter member of the Allison Avenue Baptist Church of Washington, a charter member of the Daughters of America No. 61 of Washington and held many state offices in that organization."
