I have some pictures that belonged to my grandmother, Bertha Wilson Riley. She lived her entire life in the Centerville area. From the time she was born (1913) until the late 20’s, they rented a house on what would later become State Route 88. The house was on the north side of the road, west of what is now known as Low Hill. The attached picture (taken approx 1915) shows the house and the road as it was at that time. The people on the porch are David Wilson, Etta Newman Wilson (his wife), Anne Belle Wilson and Bertha Wilson (sitting on the porch).
