Samuel Dixon of Fallowfield Township, deceased 1795
In the name of God this Sixteenth day of May One thousand seven hundred and eighty nine Witnesseth that I Samuel Dixson of the Township of Fallowfield County of Washington and State of Pennsylvania being in perfect helth and of good and sound memory thanks be to God but calling to remembrance the uncertain state of this Transitory Life and all flesh must yield to Deth when it pleases God to call Do make constitute ordain and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following revoking and annulling by these presents all and every Testament or Testaments Will or Wills heretofore by me made and Declared either by word or writing and this is to be taken for my last will and testament and none other
*First I give my Spirite up to God who gave it me and my boddy to be Desenly buryed in such a place whear it shall best please my Executor hereafter named to appoint, and now for a settlement of my Temporal Estate Goods and Chattles I do Order give and dispose the same in Manner and form following I will that all my just Debts that I owe be paid as soon as conveniant time will admit.
*Item I give and bequeve unto my daughter Ann Jackman five Shillings starlen
*Item I give and bequeve unto my daughter Ruth Gause five Shillings starlen
*Item I give and bequeve unto my Sun Abraham Dixson five Shillings starlen
*Item I give and bequeve unto my son Henry Dixson five Shillings starlen
*Item I give and bequeve unto my daughter Sarah Bailey and her heirs all that piece or parcel of land whereon she now lives which was lastly surveyed of for her by Joseph Brown adjoining land of Abraham and Henry Dixson , Joseph Brown and George Pasmore
*Item I give and bequeve unto my daughter Mary Dixson and to my daughter Jean Dixson and to my daughter Martha Dixson all my real estate where I now lives on to be equally divided between them I do hereby will and order that my Real Estate be preased
*Item I give and bequeve unto Sarah Bailey Thomas Bailey’s oldest daughter one forth part of the Preasment of the above land only the price of her One bed and bedding deducted out and Provided there shold be movables seficient to discharge the Costs Debts and Legesies which are heretofore mentioned when she shall arrive to the Eage of twenty one and I do order give and bequeve all my parsonel Eastate (after my debts and legecies be paid) to my last mentioned three Daughters Mary, Jean and Martha to be equally devided among them and these presents
* I do hereby Constitute my son in law Robert Jackman and my daughter Mary Dixson my full executors In Witness whereof I have hear unto set my hand and seal the day and year above mentioned

*On the twenty second day of June Anno Domine One thousand seven hundred and Ninety five Personally came before me the subscriber Samuel Clarke Esquire Register for the Probate of wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Washington aforesaid in the Satate of Pennsylvanian John Buffington and Joseph Brown two of the Subscribing witnesses to the within Testament of writing and being duly affirmed according to law did declare and say that they Were personally present and heard and saw the within named Samuel Dixson Sign Seal Publish and pronounce and declare the within Testament of writing to be his last will and Testament that at the time of so doing whereof he the said Samuel Dixson the Testator was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding according the best of their affirmable knowledge and belief and they Subscribed their names as witnesses to the Execution thereof in the presence of the Testator and at his request and that they did also see Amos Ailes subscribe his name thereto as a witness thereof.
