I'm researching the combined lines of Rutledge and Abraham. Clara Rutledge married Addison Abraham who were parents of Emma, Arthur, and Dwayne. Clara Rutledge was b. Sep. 1875, Addison Abraham b. July 1860, Emma b. June 1893, Arthur b. Sep. 1895, Dwayne b. Dec. 1898. They all lived in Damascus, Wayne Co., PA. I'd like to know when any or all of these people died and where they are buried. | |

I am looking for information on Maud Jessie Alberty or her husband Ed Ellsworth Ward, my great grandparents. They lived in Honesdale and Oregon Township. Ed died Jan 31, 1948 in Honesdale. I don't know when Maud died although her daughter Mae VanVorst died in 1949 and she was living in Honesdale at that time. Maud's father was Nelson Alberty of Honesdale area also. Samuel L. Campfield met and married Sarah Anne Smith there. They had at least one child; Samuel S. Campfield. (I am not sure how an Abraham Campfield is related. Brother or Uncle. For some reason or another once my GG-Grandfather Samuel S. moved to Nebraska after the Civil war he changed the spelling of his name from Campfield to Canfield. Anyway, I was hoping to learn possibly any information more family information. | |

I think their buried in Hamlin Cemetery, Salem twp; Pa. Her maiden
name was Leola Hartford b-? /d-19, Feb.1924, she married Vernon Carey
b-29, Aug.1889 Madisonville Pa. d-31 Dec.1967 he's was a veteran. They had
3 daughters, The 3rd was the cause of her death. I think her father
was George and mother was Edith, and I also know she had a brother. Vernon Carey's parents were Sam and Edith (Chambers) I'm pretty sure they lived in the Moscow area, but were buried in Hamlin. |

I'm researching Abram Cramer who is listed in census 1800 &
1810. His wife was Anna Miller and they were supposedly buried at Mt.
Pleasant Methodist church cem. which doesn't exist anymore. He was b. abt.
1750 in Monmouth County NJ and d.bef. 1820 because he is not listed in the
1820 census. Anna was b. 1743 in Monmouth Co., NJ and d. May 1813 in
Wayne Co., PA. A family history on Ancestry.com states that he helped set
up a Methodist Church at Mt. Pleasant. They had sons: Abraham d.1848
Morris Co., NJ; Enos d. 1831 Wayne, PA; Richard, d. 1844 Clark, Ohio;
& Adon d. 1859 Susquehanna PA. One daughter Josephine m. Joseph Reader &
d. 1802 in Wayne Co., PA.

The family believes that Zelma is native Indian but I can’t find her other than the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census. Thomas and Zelma had 3 children, Omah, Vermis (1920 census) and Eva Jane. Zelma and Leon had 2 children (possibly 3) James D., Harry. I am looking for any information, but I am focusing mostly on when and where Thomas and Zelma died and Zelma’s parents names. | |

I am trying to find the cemetery where Henry Ficken, nee abt Feb 1846,
Germany, and passes between 1920 and 1930 Census and his 2nd wife,
Theresa Unknown Ficken, nee abt 1854, Germany, and passes between 1910
and 1920 Census. They moved from NYC to Berlin, Wayne, PA., at the turn
of the 20th Century. He was a farmer and had a daughter, Elizabeth, nee
1884, NYC, and Henry Jr. (aka Harry), born 11 Aug 1886, NYC. Harry
marries a Rebecca abt 1904, Wayne, Pa, and is also a farmer (dairy). He
raises 3 boys, Charles born 31 May 1917 in Berlin and dies 11 Feb 2001
in White Mills, Clinton born 10 Jan 1919 in Berlin and dies 21 Aug 2000
in Hawley, and Harry born 11 Oct 1924 in Berlin and dies 15 Feb 1998
also in Hawley. This branch of the family still has roots in Wayne for
more than 100yrs. now and I would love to complete the branch with your
assistance.

I am searching for information on two Flynn families. They lived in Palmyra Twp. Hawley city for more than twenty years. Can not find anything except names on census. James J. Flynn and wife Alnn. Their children were *Mary, Ellen, James, Ann, Martin and John. The other family is that of John Pl. Flynn, he married Mary Flynn, daughter of James J. Flynn. They were married at Queen of Peace and their children baptized there. Their children were Mary Helen, (who became Nun), John James, *Charles Martin, James P., Thomas Anthony, Agnes Esther, Harriet Irene, and Bridget Loretta. I do not think, John P. and Mary Ann Flynn were related. I believe his parents names were Martin Flynn and Mary Cawley Flynn. |

grandmother, her parents were Frank Glowczewski and Anna Kubisz. His
parents were Petrus (Peter) Glowczewski and Agnieszka

1890 Detroit city directory his wife is listed as his widow. Their last

Im am trying to get any information regarding my Great Great Grandfather who lived in Wayne County township Buckingham about the 1870’s His name was Edward Hooftallen the name has been spelled in many different ways but one I found from 1880 had him listed as Edward Huftalen spouse Mary Henkley they had a son born in Delaney PA Oct 22, 1877 Named Elias (Alias) Hooftallen (Huftalen). I know that Elias last known to be in Potter County. I don’t know if he had any other siblings. I would like to find there cemetery and any other info. Lustenoder. Born in Cherry Ridge on several possible dates: 16 April
1852 from tombstone in St. John's Cemetery in Honesdale, 16 April 1853
in Honesdale to 1st husband Frederick [Groshneber] from Bavaria, April
1856 in 1900 census in Honesdale. In 1900 listed as widow with 4 out
of 6 living children: Laura (1881), Lula (1883) and twins Clara and
Lena (1887) all born in PA. Strange citation in her mother's probate
where she is listed as surname Weaver, also Weber and Haley. Death 23
Apr 1915, place unknown.

Searching for info on GGGrandparents. Thomas WHITE
and Harriet D. (Sherwood) White. Harriet appears in 1850 census in
Berlin, Wayne, PA w/her children... Curtice, Albert, Francis (male),
Joseph, Flavious, Wesley, and Clarissa. Thomas already deceased? In
1860 census, Harriet appears as living in Hawley - married to
Samuel KIMBLE and with 3 small children - James, George and Amanda/Amena?
Kimble in addition to Charles F. (Flavious) White and Clarissa White,
two of her children from previous marriage. Thomas White was born in PA
and lived in Milanville, Wayne, PA. Harriet's family (SHERWOOD) and
(WOOD) migrated to Damascus and other towns in Wayne County from
Fairfield, CT. I have no information about Thomas White's family.
I understand Samuel and Harriet are buried in Indian Orchard, but no
other information can be found online. What about children? Samuel's
first wife was Susan Compton. Harriet born about 1816. Samuel (2nd
husband) born about 1800. Thomas White ? If anyone can provide
info to me on any of these individuals, I would be grateful.
