Gordon Lawrence MacGillivray, 45, of Mississauga, Ont., formerly of Bailey's Brook, Lismore, died Monday, Mar. 21 at home. Born in Bailey's Brook, he was a son of Esther (Murdock) and the late Wilford MacGillivray. He was a self-employed trucker in Toronto and a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Lismore. Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Eleanor (Mrs. Peter Slevin), Whitby, Ont.; Marsha (Mrs Alvin MacDonald), Lismore; two brothers, Bud and Kevin, both of Lismore. Funeral service was Friday, Mar. 25 in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Lismore, Rev. Jack MacGillivray officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
