MacLean, Irene Thorne

Irene Thorne MacLean, 75, Tatamagouche, formerly of Pictou, died Wednesday, Dec. 23 in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Belleisle, Annapolis County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Rafuse) Gesner. She is survived by her husband, George S.; two daughters, Jean and Patricia; three sons, Sterling, Alton and David, all of Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by an infant son, and a daughter. Funeral was held Thursday, Dec. 23 in Snow's Funeral Home, Rev. Owen Dawe officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
